GOPAX Access

Transportation Officers (TOs) and Carriers are required to establish an account with the U.S. Transportation Command's Group Operational Passenger System (GOPAX) to submit requests for bus movements and bid on requests. Select your role below to view the process for first-time access to GOPAX.

  1. Apply for a Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) TEAMS Account

  2. Watch Your Inbox

    SDDC will send an email when your account is approved. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder.

  3. Complete Registration

    Once your account has been approved:

    • Visit https://gopax.transport.mil (Chrome recommended) and select Accept & Login
    • When the registration page loads, upload your appointment letter and click Submit.
    • If you encounter any issues, contact the USTRANSCOM help desk at 618-220-6432 or email transcom.scott.tcj3.mbx.gopax@mail.mil with “LOG IN ISSUES” in the subject line.
  1. Submit an application for External Certification Authority (ECA)

    You can obtain a Level 2 ECA Medium Assurance Certificate or a Medium Assurance Identity/Encryption Certificate from one of two commercial companies:

    A certificate is required for each person who requires GOPAX access. There is a cost to acquire an ECA, variable upon certificate length. DoD established the ECA program to support the issuance of DoD-approved certificates to industry partners and other external entities. The ECA program provides the mechanism for these entities to securely communicate with the DoD and authenticate DoD information systems, such as GOPAX.

  2. Submit your notarized support documentation

    Once your application is complete, send your notarized support documentation to the ECA company at the address found on their respective form. The company will email to confirm receipt of your application.

  3. Load your ECA certificate on your computer

    In approximately 5-7 business days, you should receive a letter in the mail with the status of your approval and additional information on how to retrieve, backup, and load your digital ECA certificate onto your computer.

  6. Complete Registration

    Once you receive the email stating your account has been approved:

    • Visit https://gopax.transport.mil (Chrome recommended) and select Accept & Login
    • When the registration page loads, upload your appointment letter and click Submit.
