DoD Ending MyTravel Program

On May 24, 2023, the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness issued the “Repeal of Mandatory Use of MyTravel” memorandum repealing its “Mandatory Use of MyTravel” memorandum dated October 21, 2022. The Department will officially conclude MyTravel operations on September 13, 2023. All future DoD travel will be booked through the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Following the sunset of MyTravel, access to travel documents must be requested through the Defense Manpower Data Center’s Reporting System (DMDCRS). Follow the instructions in this document to gain access to DMDCRS and to submit requests for MyTravel documents [PDF, 7 pages].
