UTD/CTD FOR MAP/CAP 30-25(I), Clarify the 800 Mile Roundtrip Rule for Privately Owned Airplane, Boat, or HelicopterThis item clarifies that the 400 miles one way/800-miles roundtrip policy does not apply to privately owned vehicle travel by airplane, boat, or helicopter. If a traveler elects to use a privately owned airplane, boat, or helicopter, then a cost comparison is required regardless of the distance traveled to the temporary duty location. UTD/CTD for MAP/CAP 31-24(E), Add Jordan, Joint Training Center, as an Administrative Household Goods (HHG) Weight Allowance LocationThis item adds Jordan, Joint Training Center, as an administrative Household Goods (HHG) Weight Allowance Location. In accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), paragraph 051402, household goods (HHG) weight allowances can be administratively reduced at a permanent duty station (PDS) outside the continental United States (OCONUS) based on conditions at that location. UTD/CTD FOR MAP/CAP 31-25(E), Reimbursement of Multiple Travelers Renting a Vehicle and Purchasing FuelThis item adds the authority JTR, par. 020209 and Table 2-8 to reimburse rental car fuel and oil expenses to additional travelers when properly listed on the Company rental documentation or rental agreement under the U.S. Government Rental Car Agreement #5, paragraph 16. Additional drivers added to the documentation may be reimbursed for fuel charges. However, all other charges identified in Table 2-8 shall remain only reimbursable to the traveler booking the rental vehicle. Effective June 1, 2025.6/1/2025

UTD/CTD for MAP/CAP 36-22(I), Replace "Gas" with "Fuel"The Federal Register was updated to implement a final rule proposed by the General Services Administration. The update changes references of “gas” to “fuel” and further defines fuel to account for other types of vehicle power sources, such as hydrogen, propane, and electricity.
