CTD for CAP 01-26(S), Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Employee Dependent Student Travel – FY26 NDAA Sec 1111This is a statutory (S) item implementing a mandatory provision of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026. Section 1111 of the FY26 NDAA directs the Secretary to authorize dependent educational travel for employees of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) assigned to United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, without regard to whether DoDEA anticipates that the covered employee will, during the 30-day period following the scheduled date of the dependent's departure for the travel, be transferred to a location in the United States or travel to the United States for home leave, not later than February 1, 2026.2/1/2026
