UTD/CTD for MAP/CAP 05-24(I), Clarification of Limitation on Lodging Taxes and Fees ReimbursementThis item clarifies that if a traveler does not utilize lodging at or below the lodging portion of the applicable per diem rate, and is not authorized AEA, lodging taxes and percentage-based fees will be prorated to what the Government would have paid if the traveler did utilize lodging at the per diem rate. If the TDY location is an ILP location, the same applies to the published ILP rate rather than the per diem rate.3/7/2024
UTD/CTD for MAP/CAP 04-26(S), Pet Transportation Reimbursement When Travel by Foreign Air Carrier - FY26 NDAA Section 377This is a statutory (S) item implementing a mandatory provision of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026. Section 377 directs the Secretary to authorize use of a non-U.S. flag air carrier when no U.S. flag air carrier is willing and able to provide pet transportation to, from, or between an OCONUS permanent duty station.. In accordance with Section 377, this item only applies to Service members of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force and Coast Guard) and civilian employees of the Department of War. UTD/CTD for MAP/CAP 02-26(E), Update Administrative Weight Allowances for Incirlik, TürkiyeThis item reinstates Household Goods (HHG) weight allowances for unaccompanied and accompanied Service members and DoW civilian employees stationed at Incirlik AB, Türkiye. In accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), par. 051401, HHG weight allowances are determined by a Service member’s pay grade on the effective date of the Permanent Change of Station (PCS) order, and whether the Service member has dependents on the effective date of the PCS order. A DoW civilian employee’s HHG weight allowance is established in the JTR, par. 054304. Effective January 20, 2026.1/20/2026
